The Goat Project

The Goat Project was started in 2019 after one of our many trips to Rwanda. Goat is an acronym for God of All Things. Through the goat project, we help families to receive goats, hens, and food. The families are taught how to care for the animals. We teach that the goats are for their future. One goat will produce 1-2 kids twice a year. These kids sell for $35-$40 each. This is a month’s salary in the village. So, you can see, one goat can produce up to 4 months wages for a family. This can totally change their world. We meet families that literally have no food. Children go to bed crying from hunger. During Covid lockdowns, people could not work. The goat project helped fill a gap providing food for many hungry families. We have also helped many people start their own business. We have helped with an egg business, a clothing business, a fruit and vegetable business and more.
